Yarpole Group Parish Council is made up of 10 Councillors representing the villages of Yarpole & Lucton, the hamlet of Bircher and the communities who live in Bicton, Croft and on Bircher Common.

Current Councillors are, Yarpole, Audrey Bott (Chairman), Duncan Grant (Vice-Chair) Michael Denny, Barbara Nurse, Linda Middleton, Geoff Trotter, Andrew Daniels, Ian Salmon Lucton, Diane Russell, Harold Holder.
The Parish Council liaises regularly with Herefordshire Council and works closely with Bircher Ward Councillor Sebastian Bowen.

Parish Council meetings are normally held on the first Tuesday of every month, except August and January. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and have the opportunity to speak on any agenda items at the start of the meeting. Agendas for each meeting are published on parish noticeboards and this website 3 working days before the meeting. A financial statement is considered at each meeting and these can be found on the finance page of this website.

Yarpole Community Field Consultation: Thank you to all those who responded with ideas for the future use of the community field. The results from the consultation were considered at the March Parish Council meeting, and the Parish Council is now working on outline plans for the field.
Parish Footpaths: The parish footpath officer is Peter Greer, and he works with a small team to monitor and improve footpaths across the parish. You can access maps showing the footpaths in Croft and Yarpole here and Lucton here.
